Experience in Australia
In Australia, CWP developed a portfolio of over 1.5 GW of wind and solar projects, with a strong emphasis on community collaboration. CWP Renewables, CWP’s Australian arm, was a joint platform with Partners Group, and sold for $4 billion to Squadron Energy in 2022.
Already developed largest projects in Romania and Serbia
CWP is a pioneer of renewable energy in Southeast Europe (SEE), having successfully developed the largest wind farms in Serbia and Romania.

In 2021, commodities trading giant Mercuria joined CWP Europe.
Founded in 2004, Mercuria is one of the world’s largest integrated energy and commodities trading companies.
Being one of the largest gas and power traders in Europe, Mercuria’s involvement has allowed CWP Europe to further strengthen its leading capability to monetize renewable energy through innovative offtake structures.
